Thea Willmott

Empathetic, multi-faceted designer with a maker attitude interested in the power of technology to improve user experience through product and spatial design, whilst considering social consequence and sustainability.

Throughout my degree I've developed not only my technical skills but my ability to empathise with an end-user, carrying out research and testing to understand how each part of the user journey plays a role in providing a great experience. Many of my projects have focused on wellbeing, which I find rewarding due to my interest in improving people's day-to-day lives. With a passion for interiors as well as product design, I hope to combine these skill sets in my future career prospects.

Final year project

Reducing nutritional deficiency and unnecessary supplement consumption, particularly amongst those on a plant-based diet, by making the full process of micronutrient testing more accessible at home.
