Re.form
An in-house recycling unit for the hospitality industry, repurposing waste paper-based products into new, sanitary products, such as straws and beer mats. The wall-mounted system can be easily implemented within a business, to achieve a variety of sustainable goals: reduce the volume of the waste consumed within an establishment, reduce costs associated with continuous inventory purchases (such as straws) and raise vital awareness regarding the long-standing issue of sustainability. Coupling the creation of paper pulp with multiple setting processes in various moulds; personalised, promotional material can be formed.
Rewind
New video technology, in an old, familiar format.
A refreshing product aimed at senior individuals to enable them to get excited about technology again. Rewind combines the once, well-practised routine of playing turntable records, coupling this process with the new, often daunting, video calling software. With mono-functionality and group calling capabilities, Rewind combats the elderly generations difficulties with current smartphone technology, which we have become dependent on to beat lockdown loneliness during the pandemic.
Tectite
A project carried out whilst at Pegler Yorkshire. The rendered image showcases 3 product solutions to their brief provided. A range of pipe gauge designs aid in scribing the length a pipe needs to be fitted to avoid leaks.

Work Experience
Calomax | 2019-2020
A year-long industry placement spent working within the design department at Calomax, based in Leeds, who design, manufacture and supply catering hot water boilers to a variety of sectors. My duties included involvement with prototyping a new range of boilers (through the creation of engineering drawings, machine programming and fabricating sheet metal in the workshops). Time was also spent designing the framework and structure of the newly launched website, specifically aimed at the rail industry. Adobe software was utilised to design the graphics for pull up banners and exhibition stand artwork. Product manuals and supporting maintenance documents were continuously updated and creative CAD renders were produced to provide ample social media content and blog posts.
Hazel Woodcraft | 2016
A 2-week insight into a small design and manufacture business of high-quality wooden craft. Background knowledge built on the use of low-cost graphic design methods for packaging items and photography skills learnt to market items on their website.
Pegler Yorkshire | 2014
2 weeks working alongside the marketing, finance & product design departments who are leading manufacturers of plumbing, heating and engineering products. Project involvement included designing a pipe gauge for their Tectite brand as well as a marketing project involving updating and maintaining their website.
