It’s Time to Talk Tackle!
Main project: Infertility is often framed as a female issue. As a result, men have largely been absent from this discussion, despite the research showing that they are accountable for nearly half of all infertility cases. Recent studies indicate the need for increased male awareness as sperm counts, in western males, have decreased by 50% in the last 40 years. The reason for this is multifactorial, but studies have found a strong link between alcohol consumption and reduced fertility. Are we drinking ourselves to extinction?
In partnership with Alcohol Change UK, a campaign will be launched to raise awareness about alcohol consumption and the effects it has on fertility to promote discussion amongst millennial males (aged 18-30). It’s time to break the silence. It’s time to talk tackle! The campaign uses the weapon of destruction (alcohol, most notably beers) as the main point of activation; using the tool that is destroying their fertility to educate.

Mike Kenyon
I’m a branding & visual identity enthusiast, lover of films and questionable at playing guitar. Presented is a small snapshot of my work, the full projects can be found on my website: https://www.mikekenyon.co.uk/
I’m most at home when I’m using my creative powers to solve problems and dream up new and improved ways of doing things. I’m people-oriented, analytical, pragmatic and dynamic, placing an emphasis on balancing productivity with purpose. I'm proud of what I have achieved over the past couple of years at Loughborough and very excited to be entering the industry and seeing what the future has to hold. I'm looking for design internships, grad roles and junior positions at design agencies both in, and outside, of the UK.
