Teyi - sustainable iced tea
Teyi is a sustainable sparkling iced tea brand, an active drink for change!
The iced tea brand is targeted towards 16 - 19-year-old teenagers. As the drinks are bought, some of the profits will go towards stopping children in Malawi from working in tea estates and getting them into school. The tea will be sourced ethically, and the bottle will be recyclable, making Teyi sustainable.

‘Life Isn’t All Ha Ha Hee Hee’ by Meera Syal
This is a book cover design for ‘Life Isn’t All Ha Ha Hee Hee’ by Meera Syal, a novel following three South Asian women living in East London growing to realise the oppression that women face in the Asian community.
‘Life Isn’t All Ha Ha Hee Hee’ by Meera Syal
My book cover represents south Asian woman letting go of their unrealistic expectations and changing the path that is set out for them. This idea is shown through an Asian bride cutting her long traditional hair that is often favoured by men and elders. The back cover features a shadow of the groom, suggesting that cutting her long locks symbolises cutting the control from her husband.

A multi creative designer with focus on innovative ideation, illustration and visual identity.
I am an all-around creative individual with interests in innovative ideation, illustration, visual identity alongside other arts including Bharatanatyam (Indian Classical Dancing) and Sewing.
Through my design and concepts, I like to explore topics close to my heart such as sustainability. My main branding project, Teyi, aims to develop the ethical sustainability of the tea industry by focusing on the child labour issue in Malawi. After a wide research, I created the concept of vibrant iced tea which directly supports working children of Malawi get an education. The dynamic visual identity contrasting to the social issue appeals to the younger audience and portrays the innocent and lively childhood that all children deserve.
I take pride in my culture and often include south Asian patterns and references in my design work. This is depicted through my second project, the book cover design for ‘Life Isn’t All Ha Ha Hee Hee’.
