Italy in Bloom is a womenswear summer collection.
The main inspiration for this collection is researching Italian Cinefilm and the films from the 1950s/1960s. The stylised colour and silhouettes from these films have really directed my research. Looking at the icon Sophia Loren and the specific over colourised films has enriched my colour palette and drawing style. Combining patterns from nature with fashion and culture. A bloomed Italian love story, creating a collection of wear-forever pieces celebrating eternal love for fashion and sustainability. I am keen on creating long-lasting designs using exclusive high-quality fabrics.
Using film photography to capture inspirational moments drawn throughout the collection.
An escapism collection, this is how I brought together Italy in Bloom, this summer collection will have every aspect of what you will want in your wardrobe.
