I feel inspired by the process and watching my ideas evolve as opposed to the final product. My favourite part of the previous projects is, learning about materials and processes through exploring and experimenting which is what I have chosen to carry out during my project.
My project focus was to carry out a personal material investigation of wood in order to understand its properties, which would lead to developing a product or vessel. After reflecting on previous projects, I found I most enjoyed the process of my explorations leading my design ideas as this is where I learnt the most. It enabled me to be more open-minded about what I create as well as continually learning through experimentation. I believe this method of working equipped me with a broad understanding of different materials, processes and references. Furthermore, it has been fueled by what excites me which is beneficial as I have enjoyed the process and benefitted from it. I will be doing Industrial Design BA in September which I hope to continue my exploration through learning and feeling inspired by each stage of the design process.

Work Experience
I completed my work experience at Article 25, a humanitarian architecture charity. The charity uses design to improve health, livelihoods, and resilience to disasters, with a global outreach that has transformed countless lives. I tackled a design task during the week. The design brief concerned making improvements to my school which led to the creation of a new art department building. The use of sketches, site plans, Dezeen, and Google Sketch-Up allowed the gradual development of my designs. It took me some time to understand how to use different software and create accurate sketches but throughout the week I developed my skills with the help of other architects. My work experience at Article 25 was inspiring and insightful. I learned from many accomplished architects who guided me through the process and listened to my ideas.
