Smartmama
A self-set, final year brief to find a solution to the problem of ordering food if you're a fussy eater or someone with dietary requirements. I created Smartmama, a Wagamama sub-brand app, with smart features to use when ordering at a Wagamama branch or from home. Aimed at tech-savvy individuals aged 20-30.
Smartmama - AR Feature
Now you can get techy when you order your teppanyaki!
Whether you're dining in or ordering delivery, the Smartmama app allows you to view any menu item in AR, using your phone camera. Showing you a life-like visualisation of the dish and portion size. After rigorous user-testing, feedback and development throughout my project, this feature proved to be extremely popular amongst my family and friends, and even caught the attention of the official Wagamama Instagram accounts!
Smartmama - Dietary Requirement Filter Feature
Having conducted research into the problems that people with dietary requirements face when eating out, I found that 50% of all food-allergy related fatalities occur from eating out / takeaways.
I conceptualised the idea of a 'filter' feature within the app, which refines the menu to only the items you can safely eat, saving time, effort and lives! All dietary information given during this stage is also flagged to the kitchen for extra reassurance.
Slantini
This project began as a submission to BrandOpus Chrysalis Awards.
In response to the brief to create a mass-appealing drinks brand with a sustainability story at its heart, I created the brand Slantini.
With over 4.5 million tonnes of fresh produce being wasted in the UK each year for failing to meet appearance standards, I recognised an opportunity for a new, pre-mixed cocktail made only from UK-grown wonky fruits.
There are currently no sustainable pre-mixed cocktails on the market. Slantini not only saves wonky fruits, but it also has a low carbon footprint and supports UK farms. What more could you want?!

I have often been described as someone who is friendly, gregarious and enthusiastic. I have a constant willingness to learn and thrive when I am immersed in group environments. When I approach design, I am passionate about tackling problems through conceptualising, developing and producing innovative solutions.
My design work primarily utilizes a combination of UX & UI design, product design, packaging design, and branding.
I am driven by curiosity and a passion to understand why and how the designs we see around us each day are designed in the way that they are, explaining my life-long aspiration to become a professional designer.
My strengths lie in using my creativity to solve problems, my keen attention to detail, and a slight obsession with organisation.
