Quick ATM: Streamlining the Experience of Cash Extractions [Read more]
Quick ATM - Closed View
Users interact with this product by completing a cash request on their smartphones. At the machine, the user scans their phone at the terminal. This is done through NFC functionality. As the user authenticates themselves, the revolving mechanism opens and dispenses the cash. Both the physical and digital design of this product allows users to extract cash safely, easily, and enjoyably.
Quick ATM - Digital Interface
A selection of some of the screens featured in the high-fidelity prototype. Wireframes were created in Sketch and then prototyped in Adobe XD.
Skincare Brush
A one-week live project working on a brief from a Layer design studio. A skincare brush and kit was created to meet the brief to design a product on the topic of gender neutrality. This image was rendered in Keyshot and post-processed in Adobe Photoshop.
Quick ATM - Open View
An opened view of the machine showing where the user can pick up the cash from. As the mechanism revolves open, the light glows and indicates any interaction points.
Quick ATM - Close Up
A closer look at the partial cylindrical form of the dispenser.
Faheem Quadir
Whether the product is manifested physically, digitally, or as a service, my focus is always upon enhancing the user’s experience.
I am a curious, driven, and dedicated designer with a particular interest in UX. Though I enjoy all aspects of the design process, my strengths lie in prototyping and testing. Studying at Loughborough has allowed me to realise my dream of becoming a professional designer and develop my skills. My process is centred around cultivating a positive response from users and ensuring their needs are always catered for. Being fortunate to undertake a placement year at Ticketmaster showed me the potential global impact that meaningful design can have and I always try to implement much of what I learnt there in my work today. My future aims are to continue learning, experimenting, and creating through design.

Awards
My team and I had an enjoyable experience and were fortunate to win the award for Best Client Relationship from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) during a Hackathon event. We worked on a live one-day project working with MBA students from HKU to create a prototype for a start-up business.
Work Experience
As a member of the International Product team at Ticketmaster, I worked on a variety of client products for the Enterprise division. I was fortunate to develop a range of skills, from graphic design to user research and prototyping. My graphic work involved creating Personas and Data-driven Visualisation Posters.
My major project was designing a Virtual Queue feature that was to be integrated into our white-label sports product, Ticketmaster Pro. I was tasked with both the UX and UI of this feature and consulted the established style guide throughout. This was a great learning experience where I underwent many iterations, supervisor reviews, and product management meetings.
