Deniz Tekin

I’d like to think of myself as an experimental practitioner. I take joy in manipulating ordinary materials in different ways to turn them into something unique or trying out different techniques without thinking of a final result. The spontaneity that comes with being experimental is something I particularly find exciting and the balance of having a plan and making use of the unexpected things in the process help me achieve more interesting products. Alongside my interest in 3D design, I consider myself open-minded when it comes to being interdisciplinary and fine art often becomes a large source of inspiration for me. Looking at artists’ expressions through their own unique form of art creates opportunities to apply what I’ve explored to the different stages of my 3D projects.
