World Revolution (see the YouTube link for full animatic)
I created an 'animatic draft' of an animation that will inspire people to sign up to Greenpeace to tackle climate change. I created the emotive speech using clips of famous climate change speeches. The story shows a young boy in a post-climate-change world. You follow him on a journey through London that is ridden with pollution and smog. People are rioting at the government about failures in legislation (see youtube link for full animatic). The challenges of this project were to successfully create an emotive story. The audio pushes the animatic to be emotive and impactful whilst the moving image aids what's being said in the speeches.
Pontos - Sustainable Fashion
I created my brand Pontos to be a funky alternative to plain sustainable clothing. Pontos was the original Greek god of the sea and protector of fish; therefore the company is pro marine protection from production to shipping. The designs are bold and unique as seen in the Spring-Summer Collection. I created three basic T-shirts and three print patterns. Never delving into fashion or editorial photography before this project was a chance to learn basic practices for a graphic designer in the fashion industry.
Audible Original
Audible's brief was to create a front cover for the children audible book, 'There's A Noise In My Shed'. I took the approach that my character 'Noiseumus' was the 'Noise' in the shed. I wanted to visualise to a child that when someone says can you hear that noise, it's actually a little creature called noise. I developed different platform banners to advertise the audible book. My challenge for this project was the simplicity of the task. It was an easy option to place a shed on the front cover however it wouldn't push any imaginations.
Pontos Editorial Photography
An image taken from my editorial shoot showcasing my design. I digitally reconstructed the scene to have my design on the shirt to create the desired look for Pontos.

An illustration from the big group book project.
Example Fabric Print - Pontos
An example of one of my prints. This print shows three 'kissing fish' on a blue cotton shirt.
Charley-Ella Knights-Nizzardi
An experimental designer who uses out of the box thinking to create unique outcome.
As a creative, I started my graphics journey at the University, previously only studying Fine Arts. I am a fast learner picking up Adobe Software Skills and design techniques that have propelled me through University. Throughout my time at the university, I was drawn to themes of environmentalism. I am passionate about ending marine pollution and climate change; therefore look towards design to create a solution.

Awards
My trainer design came 6th in the 'Prospect 100 Global Design Competition of 2020.' I was selected to be in the top 20 finalists by the industry judges. The top 20 then went to a public vote on Instagram.
For my achievements, I was offered a graduate placement at GUESS Los Angeles with mentorship from fashion mogul James Lee. My trainer encompasses my passion for marine life as its made from recycled waste from the ocean. The design itself mimicked a wave shape. "End Plastic Waste - I liked this one because it aligns with something I'm currently working towards as well. I think the overall aesthetic is nice too, definitely a dope sneaker!" - Sean Wotherspoon
Work Experience
For 'Green Goddess Wellness' I created website banners to boost the aesthetic for the website whilst promoting the products. I used photoshop to place the current labels onto pouches, then styled them onto a white background to give a studio effect. The challenges I faced was navigating commercial photography and presentation whilst keeping to a companies branding guidelines. I gained experience in e-commerce and product presentation.
