Little Leftover Print Campaign
Little Leftover is a brand that inspires families to look after our planet by regrowing their vegetable scraps. Encouraging children to participate in zero-waste gardening provides children with a sense of responsibility, helping them become sustainable ambassadors for our future.
Posters will be displayed at school bus stops and supermarkets to grab the attention of parents and careers. The brands earthy colour palette and friendly illustrations engage with young children. Little Leftovers innocent tone of voice and playful nature of the brand stands out from the typical mundane gardening proposal. Highlighting that regrowing vegetable scraps is an exciting activity family want to be involved in.
Little Leftovers Scan and Grow App
The proposal of zero-waste gardening can seem daunting for a parent who has limited gardening experience. Therefore a crucial touchpoint of the brand was to deliver accessible insights and instructions on how easy 'starting from scrap' can be. The Little Leftover app is simplistic and friendly and can be first accessed through users scanning fresh produce stickers in M&S stores. Stickers enable users to access information on growing their scraps. QR code encourages parents to download the app as it provides information and prompts on how to start from scrap.
Little Leftovers Store Application
In-store environmental graphics to educate & excite the user about Little Leftovers; strategically placed in the fresh produce section of M&S stores. Wayfinding is applied to enhance the supermarket experience for children. Adults are provided with a starter leaflet that summaries the Little Leftovers mission and how parents can have more sustainable lifestyles.
Little Leftovers Print Material
Print promotion, to be distributed to primary schools and in children's book bags; to fascinate parents to participate in looking after their leftovers.

Get listeners to soundtrack and share their life through Spotify
We all love a Spotify generated playlist, but now it's time to move users into the spotlight. 'Spot' is a feature whereby users can create playlists that capture key moments in time, by tagging them with a location and date and pinning them to the Spot map. The feature gives master curators the chance to publish playlists tagged to places they love, and social trendsetters the opportunity to explore music in places they'd love to be.

Ceara Horwood
I am a visual thinker with a passion for creating social campaigns and digital products. My projects centre around users and engage communities big or small.
I thrive when creating digital solutions and experiences that fulfil community needs. From teaching the next generation to lead sustainable lifestyles through looking after their leftovers, designing a feature that enables users to soundtrack their lives through Spotify to aiding first-year university students to stay sane in quarantine. My projects are diverse yet focus on challenging issues in today's society. This year I have taken a particular interest in UX and UI projects, as they challenge me to engage with users and further advance the skills I gained during placement. My passion is to pursue a career in the digital design industry.

Work Experience
Saggitarius Digital Marketing Agency
Working at Saggitarius opened my eyes to the world of UX and UI design. My time spent at the agency consisted of creating the look and feel of numerous app and websites. I worked on a range of web design projects and designed creative solutions for upcoming digital beauty and travel campaigns. A year in the industry has taught me how to build client relationships, learn how to work effectively to design deadlines and still produce high-quality professional outcomes. Other responsibilities included in-house design material, project meetings, research and design concepts. I am now using those talents to advance my design practice.
