My project explores the textures found in nature including lichen, moss and tree bark, through photography, drawing, handmade paper, wet felting and printing processes.
I wanted to incorporate nature into my project because I have learnt to appreciate my surroundings so much more, as I really valued daily walks around my village during the lockdown. I was particularly interested in the small, intricate details and textures in nature that are often overlooked.
