Luna Lamp Set: Day Time
Due to the pandemic, working from home has become an inevitable phenomenon. Remote studying and working at home has intruded on our home lives. Signs of broken work schedule affecting people's sleep hygiene has begun to show. Luna creates a customised sleep environment for the user and finds out about hidden sleep habits that lead to better sleep and wake-up experiences.
Luna Lamp Set: Night Time
This lamp allows a personalised setting for the users to create their preferred sleep and wake up environment. The product is composed of two parts: the Luna lamp and the sleep monitor. They learn the user's sleep habits and patterns, with the user's rating of their sleep, the product suggests what the user can do to enhance their sleep hygiene. Luna Lamp and the sleep monitor are designed to fit into a bedroom nicely with their soft and comfortable aesthetic.
Kitchen Gas Monitor: A Device that Helps the User Keep Their Kitchen Environment Safe From Air Pollutants Created During and After Cooking.
While cooking being an activity where family and friends can bond, enjoy the time by completing the cooking together. Harmful compounds are created by the process of cooking that contributes to long term health issues. The Kitchen Gas Monitor tells the user the suggested temperature for specific cooking oil, to prevent producing smoke in the first place. Monitors the air throughout the cooking process and alerts the user when the kitchen needs airing out.
Luna Lamp Set : Sleep Monitor
The sleep monitor is placed underneath the pillow to monitor the user's sleep at night. The monitor also has the function to wake the user up via vibration.

Designed to fit in a modern kitchen and for simple usage.

The product outlines a cloud shape with a wood frame, at the same time resembles a comfortable bed with its soft fabric material.
LaunDry Device
A smart device that estimates the drying time for laundries in an outdoor environment, and notifies the user when they are ready to be collected.

Throughout my time at Loughborough University, I have had opportunities to put my passion into practice, to find solutions evolving around problems within people's daily lives.
Through projects of different background, I have practised design skills that allow me to carry out iterative research, designing and modelling. But more importantly, noticing the importance of finding the meanings behind user's behaviour has taken me to the next step, finding design opportunities that bring meaningful experience to the user.
As I get my hands on more projects, finding meanings behind the user's behaviour to incorporating into my solution has become one of my focal interests. As an observer, a designer, I aim to bring more meaningful experiences to the users through design and am enthusiastic about applying my skills to make a positive influence on our lives.

Work Experience
Sand & Birch Studio-Design Intern (SEP2019-SEP2020)
One year internship in Italy, where I participated in new furniture collection designs and other accessory product design developments. Apart from working on assigned projects using my skills in research, ideation, creating CAD and renders, I also contribute to other projects by using my speciality of Adobe Photoshop to create realistic product images for presentation.
