Investigating and documenting observations of anything that could put under a microscope.
This project is based on observation under the microscope. Using everyday objects and things, food, dirt and grass; anything that can be closely observed. From these observations came drawings, photography, and prints throughout the project. I was then able to put my drawings and print plates under the microscope and layering my photography. I wanted to explore this as I have always loved looking at detail, making this project the perfect opportunity to venture into new techniques and mediums. I was able to use my love for photography throughout the project to record the different compositions that I created with my microscope findings. Something unique about this project path was that I was able to research into scientists and their findings under the microscope to inspire my work.
